She enjoys going to the gym/lifting, running, and hiking, as well as reading and listening to podcasts. She enjoys going to local breweries and taking her dog on walks with her husband. The thing she loves most about being a physical therapist is empowering patients and teaching them what they can do to optimize their abilities and see them return to the activities and hobbies they love. Her husband is also a physical therapist (he works at MPT, too!). They have a boxer-pitt mix named Slater and are expecting their first baby in the Spring! Rebecca went to the University of Arizona for her undergrad and Northern Arizona University for PT school. She has wanted to be a PT since 8th grade, the first time she attended PT as a patient. Shantele enjoys spending time with her immediate and large extended family playing games, cooking, socializing, and traveling. She loves to dance, snowboard, wake surf, hike, do yoga, and connect with others. Three words that could describe Shantele are: intuitive, compassionate, and inquisitive. Shantele began dancing as a toddler which ignited a passion for the art form throughout her life. She went to ASU on a full scholarship to attain her BFA in Dance with a K-12 teaching accreditation. After a 25 year career of teaching dance, she retired from the profession to pursue her interests in Physical Therapy. As a young dance major at ASU, Shantele's Dance Kinesiology class sparked her interests in PT and she determined that if she were ever to go back to school, she would study Physical Therapy. Shantele completed her certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant through GCC with clinical applications in orthopedic outpatient clinics specializing in spine, neurological, and aquatic therapy. Shantele has always had a love for movement and a keen understanding of the way proper biomechanics can prevent injury and also heal physical infirmities. Her professional dance career has given her a unique understanding of the mechanics of the human body and its application in therapeutic settings. She finds great joy in educating her patients with proper techniques for attaining better health and longevity of active lifestyles. Shantele loves her career change and has immense satisfaction in seeing her patients' quality of life improve through the practice. Joe Rasor

Kami's full name is Kamira Buchler but she prefers to go by Kami. She was born in California. She moved to Colorado when I was 2, then moved to Arizona in 1972. She graduated high school in 1982 from Apache Junction and was married that same year. She home-schooled her 4 kids. She and her husband raised their kids on over 100 acres of land, where we raised ALL of our own food, fruits, veggies, meat, etc. She made all of their cheese and bread, canned their food, processed their chickens, and milked the cows. All of her kids have grown up and moved away now. She moved into "civilization" and, at some point, wants to get back to that lifestyle on a limited basis, more like urban farming. We will see what the future holds! She loves working in the Physical Therapy setting, it is moving, flowing, and active. She doesn't ever want to retire! She enjoys Moore Physical Therapy because the people are just a comfortable fit.
