Dr. Kimberly Dang, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

I was born and raised in Tempe, Arizona. Did all of my schooling here; attended McClintock High School, Mesa Community College, Grand Canyon University, Arizona State University, and Andrew Tayler (A.T.) Still University.

While in physical therapy school, I obtained my pelvic floor physical therapy certification through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Floor Level 1. I recently completed Herman and Wallace Pelvic Floor Level 2B and am now, currently enrolled in Level 2C, and will complete Level 2A in May 2026.

I also received a certification for Trauma Informed Care for best practices as my work in pelvic floor physical therapy can be intimate/invasive.

My core values that drive me in life is to just do good and be good.

“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it”. – Ferris Bueller.
Something that patients who come in for a pelvic floor dysfunction often deal with is having to see multiple providers, complete all of the imaging and lab testing and not being able to figure out what may be wrong. Moreover, patients are being told that their symptoms “are all in your head” and that they often feel dismissed. There is very little patient education and in general amongst medical providers as to what pelvic floor physical therapy is and what we can do to help. My biggest role is reassuring my patients in that all of their symptoms and feelings towards it are valid, and that it is possible to get them treated conservatively no matter age, sex, severity of the condition, etc.

I am a physical therapist who specializes in pelvic floor physical therapy.

Conditions that I enjoy treating would be any type of pelvic floor dysfunction as I specialize in this.

What I like about working here is the sense of community–from the staff to the patients, it feels as though we are one big family.

“I have had an excellent experience working with my physical therapist, Kimberly, at Moore PT in Tempe. She is warm and creates a space that makes you feel safe even when dealing with uncomfortable moment (such as pelvic floor work). She has been able to help me manage my chronic pain while also working to strengthen the areas surrounding my bad joints. I can’t believe how far I have come in such as short time. I want to express my deepest gratitude for all she has done for me.”

“I lived an active lifestyle before the birth of my child and was eager to get back to it. I first saw Kimberly about 2 months postpartum after I had a difficult delivery. She was attentive, care, and knowledgeable from the very start. She provided realistic exercises and instruction that I could manage on top of being a new mom. She was also extremely consistent with her care, demeanor, and approach. Kimberly cares about her clients and it shines through her work. The staff there is also great. Overall, wonderful experience.”

“Going to PT for the 3rd time seemed like no big deal, but all that changed when I set foot inside Moore PT – Tempe. The staff are warm, caring, and kind. The atmosphere is upbeat and dare I say fun. My PT, Kimberly is AMAZING to work with! The premises is clean, warm, and inviting – a very positive atmosphere. If you think all PT offices are the same, then you have not been referred to Moore PT – they are simply amazing. I feel very fortunate to have been introduced to them.”
